Adam planned this top-secret, expertly choreographed, flashmob cycling class proposal, asking his boyfriend, Jared Marinelli, also a Joyride Instructor, the magic question... WILL YOU MARRY ME?!
Adam and Jared, now known as "Team Jadam," first met last March when Adam arrived at JoyRide's Ridgefield, Connecticut studio, looking for an instructor job.
Jared was responsible for training Adam, and they instantly connected. They admit they both had crushes on one another from the moment they met, and everyone who witnessed the two of them together agreed there was something special between the two of them. It only took a week for Adam and Jared to go on their first official date. With their undeniable chemistry, it is no surprise they were meant to be! As Adam likes to say, "It was love at first JoyRide!"

Tennis is a popular and fun pastime, in that it requires mental focus and athletic ability. But due to the cost of equipment and court time, lots of kids never get the chance to try their hand at the sport. Leaders of the Junior Tennis Champion Center (JTCC) recognized this cost challenge, and decided to do something to change it. In 2009, JTCC launched a Community Outreach initiative, with the goal of introducing underserved kids in Prince George's County, MD, and Washington, DC to tennis. And the program has become an indisputable success.
