Police Officers Escort A Mother Duck And Her Ducklings To Safety
Police in St. Andrews, Scotland, had to do an unusual escort when they saw a mother duck and her nine ducklings trying to cross the street last week. The officers made sure that all of their feathered friends made it across the street, down the sidewalk and into the pond safely.
"It was a dramatic moment. It was interesting and a bit surreal," Yoriko Hirose, the videographer who captured the scene said. "The police did a good job. They managed to get the ducks off the road quite quickly."
