Fueled by Love: The Ironman Who Competes for Family
Every year, Richard Peck competes in several Ironman events to benefit the National Down Syndrome Society. Richard's inspiration is his younger brother Chris who he says refuses to let Down Syndrome limit him.
"My brother has the same hopes, wishes, dreams, desire to be included in things that I do, that my sister does, that my parents do, that you do," Peck said.
Currently, Richard is training for Ironman Lake Placid, where he will compete as part of NDSS Your Way, a campaign that allows people to raise money on behalf of the NDSS. For more information, check out http://ndssyourway.ndss.org/
